Our history
The History of Grace Church Stafford
A faithful church assembly, first established in 1998.
The foundations of Grace Church Stafford were first laid by David Humphreys and David Johnson, our original elders. Initially, church meetings were held at the homes of church members located in and local to Stafford. Home church meetings included fellowship, worship, communion, and expository preaching by Pastor Humphreys and Pastor Johnson, respectively.
Our numbers were few to begin with, but the Lord blessed us with new members steadily. Just a few short years later, the Lord delivered Matthew Richer and his wonderful family to Stafford and added them to our number. In 2004, Matthew Richer was brought in as an elder, where he continues to faithfully serve today.
In 2006, Grace Church Stafford (a working name for Littleworth Church Stafford) was registered as a charity. Matthew Richer, Kevin Morton and Simon Waddingham serve as charity trustees, and we continue to be blessed by their ongoing work.
We're delighted to report that even after 25 years, several of our original members are still in attendance at our church, and our numbers continue to grow steadily. It would be our great pleasure to have you in attendance at our church, where we are dedicated to teaching the word of God and assisting our members in the growth of their faith.
