Membership - Grace Church Stafford

We're delighted to welcome believers into our church membership.

Church membership is a formal commitment to a local body of believers.

As a member, you are also officially welcomed as church family, and lovingly submitted under the care of our elder, Pastor Matthew, where your spiritual growth is paramount.

As members, we corporately receive instruction from the Scriptures (1 Timothy 4:13, 2 Timothy 4:2); participate in the ordinances (Luke 22:19; Acts 2:38-42); serve and edify one another through the use of spiritual gifts (Romans 12:3-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-31, 1 Peter 4:10-11); and share the gospel to those who are lost (Matthew 28:18-20).

We encourage you to visit our church, get to know our church family, and enquire about membership when you feel the time is right.

Questions & Answers

Members are required to participate in discussions and decisions pertaining to Grace Church Stafford governance, such as the handling of church finances, new member applications, member discipline, and more.

Yes, indeed! Church membership is and will always be 100% free.

Yes. An elder will organise a one-to-one meeting with you at a date and time that works for you. The purpose of the interview is focussed exclusively on ensuring that you understand and believe the core doctrines of the Protestant Christian faith.

Existing church members will vote on an application and the decision is based on the majority vote.

If you can no longer regularly attend our church meetings, we trust that you will make efforts to become a member of a more local church, and we will assist in migrating your membership to the new church.

Overview

Grace Church Stafford is the working name of Littleworth Church Stafford, a registered charity founded in 2006.

We teach people of all ages Christian faith and practice, and support them practically and emotionally as needed. We operate regular mutual encouragement groups as well as reaching out to our local community.
